RJC is excited to announce the opening of our 10th office in Canada, located in Kelowna, BC. While RJC has provided engineering services to clients in this region for many years, beginning September 1, 2015 we will be offering RJC’s creative solutions to our valued clients throughout the Okanagan and the interior of British Columbia with a more local flavour.
Associate Michael Blackman will run this office under the direction of Managing Principal, Roger Steers. Michael and his wife Fionna, a Vernon gal, look forward to living and working in the region. “We’re excited for the opportunity to live closer to Fionna’s family and to build community together with our neighbours throughout the Okanagan”, says Michael. A native of Prince George, Michael has been with RJC in Vancouver since 2001, having previously provided consulting services throughout northern BC. As a structural engineer with extensive structural restoration and building science experience – including upgrades and full building renewal projects - Michael is well suited to provide clients with technical solutions and project management expertise. Michael’s 14 years with RJC also provide him with a depth of internal relationships which will be beneficial to a range of clients.
Nationally recognized as one of Canada's leading engineering firms, RJC specializes in structural engineering, glass and façades, building science, structural restoration and parking planning services. Clients can take comfort in knowing that our Kelowna office will provide the depth and resources of a large national organization while offering the responsive service and accessibility of a local firm. Across Canada, RJC stands by our promise to deliver Creative Thinking and Practical Results.
