The Vancouver Aquarium is located in Vancouver’s world renowned Stanley Park and is officially known as Canada’s first public aquarium.

At almost 100,000 sq. ft., the aquarium consists of several buildings constructed in a number of phases, dating back to construction of the original facility in 1955.

The 55,000 sq. ft. expansion to the aquarium included gallery spaces, the main entrance and outdoor plaza.

RJC was added to the project team to revitalize and enrich the physical presence of the aquarium inside Stanley Park by adding a dramatic new entrance and enhancements to the visitor experience by adding a “connections” gallery that linked the various exhibition spaces.
