University of the Fraser Valley Student Union Building
This 47,420 sq. ft. Student Centre is a new student-gathering place that contains various amenities, student services and activities for the University of Fraser Valley students, faculty staff and visitors.
The space centres on a three-storey atrium that floods the space with natural daylight and is conducive to a productive and engaging learning environment.
Many of the skylight openings in the atrium were introduced in the roof deck design over to suit architectural needs.
The main entrance features sloping columns and inverted tapered concrete beams, which are designed to attract students to the centre and the restaurant.
The building also features a sub-dividable 5,000 sq. ft. multi-purpose hall.
