Sandspit Airport Combined Services Building
RJC was engaged for the remediation of the building enclosure at the Sandspit Airport Central Services Building and the replacement of roofs on various other buildings at the airport.
RJC was the prime consultant on a full exterior enclosure rehabilitation for this airport building, housing shops and service vehicle garages.
While re-cladding the building, RJC worked with Transport Canada to choose more robust replacement materials to be able to survive the severe weather conditions in the highly exposed location.
RJC also simplified parts of the form of the exterior of this building, to make it a more maintainable structure in the long-term.
