980 Howe
This 269,000 square foot, AAA office building in downtown Vancouver opened its doors in November 2015.
Located on the corner of Howe and Nelson Streets, 980 Howe is within walking distance of Vancouver’s iconic Robson Square, the Vancouver Art Gallery and provincial law courts.
The certified LEED® Gold building features rain water harvesting, triple-paned windows for energy efficiency and electric vehicle charging stations.
In order to maximize the number of floors that could be built within the site's height limit, RJC’s Structural Engineering team designed post-tensioned flat slab floors.
To be sure the building could support a large amount of tenants, these slabs are designed to support live loads in excess of the minimum required by the Building Code.
