RJC were the Prime Consultants for this 525-car parking facility on a prime site in downtown Kitchener.

A very high level of architectural treatment was provided for this facility, which included storefront retail space at Speakers’ Corner.This $16 million, 6-storey parking structure was constructed at the north-west corner of Charles Street at Benton Street.

The façade is characterized for the most part by brick cladding.

The primary pedestrian entrance of the building faces Benton Street, and features a small two-storey retail space and a glass tower housing the stairwell and elevators.

A narrow pedestrian canopy projects toward the street.The west façade of the building features large unglazed openings.A portion of this wall is fitted with mesh metal screening.

The project won an International Parking Institute (IPI) Award of Merit.
