3100 Meadowbrook Lane Passive House Development
This $40M project is a residential development for the Windsor-Essex Community Housing Corporation.
RJC did the structural design for this 10-storey cast-in-place concrete building with one level of basement, that will have 145 units and be 142,000 sq.ft. The structure utilizes flat slab construction with column and shear walls.
The building sits entirely on a raft foundation due to poor soil condition.
The development is prioritizing sustainability; it will be Net-Zero and certified to meet the standards for Passive House and the WELL Building Standard.
